A THIRSTY CROW

It was a summer day. The day was very hot and unbearable. There was the scorching sun around. There was no water anywhere. During those hot days, once a crow grew very thirsty. He flew here and there in search of water. But he could not find any water to drink. He got sad and sat on the branch of a tree. He was totally upset and could not understand what to do then. Suddenly he saw something like a pitcher under the three. He became happy and flew down to the pitcher. He sat on the top of the pitcher and looked inside the pitcher. But he was shocked to see a little water in the pitcher and the water was on the last bottom of the pitcher. He tried repeatedly but could not drink the water as the water level was low from his peak. He became sad again. He was about to give up his patience but suddenly an idea visited his mind. He collected some pebbles from a nearby place and dropped them into the pitcher one by one. After a certain time, the water level of the pitcher rose up. Then the crow became able to drink the water from the pitcher. By using his intellectuality, he fulfilled his thirst. Being happy and content, he flew away happily. We have many things to learn from that clever crow.
