A friend in need is indeed a friend

Once upon a time, there were two friends. They lived in a certain village. They seemed to be very intimate. They promised that they would help each other in times of danger. One day, they were passing through a deep forest. Suddenly, a bear came in front of them. So both of them got afraid, and they were at a loss for what to do then. They could not imagine how they would escape from there to save their lives. One friend knew how to climb a tree, and he climbed a tree very quickly without thinking of his friend. The other friend did not know how to climb a tree. So he became very frightened. She became uncertain about his life. Suddenly, an idea visited his mind: a bear does not eat a dead body. So he pretended to die, lay down on the ground, and stopped breathing. After a while, the bear came to him. Thinking he was dead, the bear went away. The friend who was on the tree was seeing this very fearfully. Then the selfish friend climbed down from the tree and came close to the other friend. He asked his friend what the bear told him so silently. The lying friend cleverly answered that the bear told him to keep away from the selfish friend. Hearing this, the other friend became so ashamed of his wrongdoing. From this beautiful story, we have many things to learn. We should not think of our own interests only. We should have the mentality to help others when they fall into trouble.
