Falling a victim to it, I was a fish-like without water. I was coming by rickshaw. In front of my rickshaw, there was a bus which was emitting black smoke. The smoke flowed towards me as the direction of the wind. I tried to lessen the act of smoke upon me putting my handkerchief on my nose but could not struggle for long. The constant horns of vehicles around me almost turned me to be out of the brain. As it was summer, the heat of the sun added to trouble me. The roofs of the rickshaw are not active enough to protect me from the scorching sun. In this situation, I felt giddy. I was about to vomit two times. The unbearable traffic jam left me in a dilemma. I could not make a decision about whether I would leave rickshaw and go to the house on foot or not. In this way, time was passing very difficult. At one time, I found the vehicles moving. After twenty minutes I reached my home being two hours late. My family members were very anxious. Already they made a phone to the police station. Getting me they felt relaxed. On that day I could realize to my bone what terrible and unbearable traffic jam is!

TRAFFIC JAM PARAGRAPH | 123 WORDS| Traffic jam is not an uncommon phenomenon in our country, especially in Dhaka city. Traffic jam, by definition, is the huddling up of too many vehicles in a specific place of a highway or in a street, with the result that the vehicles clog up, so to say, and cannot move ahead. This crests a great problem. People who are busy on urgent business miss their timetable. In the morning, for example, many people fail to attend their workplaces in time. The transportation of goods gets delayed. Perhaps the worst consequence is duffers by patients being carried to hospitals or clinics. The mental and physical sufferings, too, are no less important. Rickshaw pullers and baby-taxi drivers, who usually live from hand to mouth, undergo great suffering for the loss of their time. Again, not that only the street conditions and rule-violating behaviour of drivers cause it. Above all, we do not want to suffer so much.
