Load shedding! To me, it is the name of panic. Nowadays it has become a common matter in our country. It is one of the most major problems in our country. Actually Load shedding means the interrupted supply of electricity for a certain period. On the other hand, we can say that Load shedding means the scarcity of electricity supply. Every day it occurs at least four or five times. Every time it exists for at least one hour. That means every day we have to face Load shedding for at least four or five hours. When the supply of electricity is stopped in an area, the whole area turns into darkness. Shops, houses, hospital, factories are mainly affected by the Load shedding. It hampers our daily life in many ways. All classes of people are affected by this problem. Due to the continuation of Load shedding, factories can not produce products, goods or services properly. For this reason, there is created a shortage in the market and due to shortage, the price of the goods or services increase rapidly. When the Load shedding occurs in a hospital, the patients, as well as the doctors, suffer very much. The doctors can not provide proper treatment to the patients. The operation theatre can not be run properly when the Load shedding occurs. This is why the hospitals have to use generator service but it may increase the expense of treatment which is really a concern for the patients. A student also suffers from this problem very much. At night when the Load shedding occurs, he spends an idle time and he can not complete his next day’s lesson properly. This problem is so much cruel during the period of examination. There are some reasons behind this problem of Load shedding. Sometimes we are liable for this problem. Government has taken many steps to increase the supply of electricity but all the steps go in vain. In order to reduce the Load shedding, we have to more aware of using the electricity that means we should not abuse our electricity. Besides government, normal people should be aware of saving this national asset. Awareness of saving electricity should be raised in all the people and make them careful in avoiding the misuse of electricity.
