POPULATION PROBLEM

POPULATION PROBLEM

Population refers to the total number of people living in a certain area, such as a city, town, or country. In Bangladesh, our population is increasing rapidly, and this is causing many problems.

One of the main reasons for our high population is poverty. Many families have many children because they hope that one of them will be able to support them in the future. They believe that having more children will increase their chances of having someone who can help them financially. This is called the “prosperity mentality”.

Another reason is child labour. Some families have many children so that one child can work and earn money for the family. This is called the “family labour mentality”.

Another reason is that our life expectancy is increasing. This means that people are living longer, and we have more people of all ages in our country.

Having a large population can cause many problems. We may not have enough food, clothes, and houses for everyone. There may not be enough jobs for everyone, which can lead to unemployment. This can cause many other problems too, such as traffic congestion, pollution, and overcrowded schools and hospitals.

The government of Bangladesh is taking some steps to address this problem. They are educating people about family planning and birth control. They are also trying to create more jobs so that people can work and earn money. They are building more schools, hospitals, and other public facilities to meet the needs of the growing population.

To help with this problem, we can also do our part. We can use less water, electricity, and other resources. We can also try to reduce pollution. By doing these things, we can help make our country a better place for everyone.

In conclusion, our population is increasing rapidly, and this is causing many problems. But by using fewer resources and reducing pollution, we can help to make our country better for everyone.
