PHYSICAL EXERCISE

There is no doubt that health is the most valuable thing in this world, and there is a saying that health is wealth. A person’s vast property will be worthless if he does not have sound health. Money can bring many things to us, but it cannot bring good health. Health is the best gift from Allah. A sound mind always lies within a sound body. If anyone wants to keep fit, he must do physical exercise daily.

Physical exercise means the regular movement of the external organs and limbs of our body according to some rules. It is essential to keep our health good and our minds sound. The human body is like a machine. A machine becomes useless for lack of proper use. Similarly, we cannot control our body’s fitness if we do not exercise regularly.

Physical exercise is of various kinds, such as walking, swimming, wrestling, riding, racing, gymnastics, and playing different kinds of games indoors and outdoors.

But all forms of exercise are not suitable for all men. If a weak man participates in a football game, he will get tired soon. It is not good for him. Those who are strong and healthy can take on any type of exercise. Walking is the best exercise for people of all ages. Walking in the morning and evening refreshes our body and mind. It also enables a person to enjoy the beauty of nature. Swimming is also a good exercise. It makes all the limbs of our body stronger. Riding, racing, wrestling, and indoor and outdoor games offer a little opportunity for exercise.

A sound body lies in a sound mind. If our bodies become weak and sick, our minds will also be weak. Without sound health, we cannot desire a sound mind. So health is the mother of all happiness. To keep our bodies fit, we must exercise regularly.

There are many people who do not exercise. They fall victim to many severe diseases. Life becomes dull for them. They do not have any energy and cannot enjoy life. Nothing is important in this world without good health.

To make the body strong and remain free from all kinds of diseases, we should exercise. For peace of mind, physical exercise is very important. But overuse and irregular exercise are bad for your health. So we should exercise according to the physician’s direction. And we should remember that morning and evening are the best times for physical exercise.
