AIR POLLUTION
At present, Bangladesh is undergoing all kinds of environmental pollution. Air pollution is one of them. It means the air, which is polluted in various ways. Nowadays, it has become so serious in our country. Even beyond Bangladesh, the whole world is affected by air pollution. The main reason for air pollution is smoke that contains carbon dioxide. Different industrial plants, factories, mills, brick kilns, and vehicles emit poisonous smoke that pollutes the air. Mainly, different motor vehicles that run on petrol, diesel, or oil emit high amounts of smoke and pollute the environment. Motor vehicles that are more than 20 years old should be banned from plying on the roads. We should encourage people to use compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquid petroleum gas (LPG) to fuel their cars, buses, trucks, and other vehicles. We human beings are mainly responsible for this severe air pollution. Even when we cook at home, it makes smoke and pollutes the atmosphere. All factories, firms, industries, and brick kilns should be relocated from our residential areas. The government should be more concerned about this. We should make all possible efforts to protect our environment from being polluted; otherwise, it will be impossible for us to survive on this earth in the future.
